Shops even in residential buildings were under lock and key.
Popular Iweka road, Onitsha-Owerri road and adjoining streets were like grave yard as no human or vehicular movement were seen for hours.
Reports from Enugu state shows highly populated Ogbete market leading to New Heaven road, Enugu-Ebonyi road and adjoining streets were seen without human and vehicular movement.
Banks in the eastern States that do carry out partial operations on Biafra Sit at home commemoration day, were seen today fully under lock and key.
Most of the Commercial bus drivers, tricycle and motorcycle riders that do resume operations at from 12 noon on Biafra Commemoration day were seen today out of the roads even at 6 o’clock this evening.

Nnamdi Kanu in his words said the action of the people today has proven that the Biafrans are tired of the neocolonialism and slavery in Nigeria.
