$40b Joe Biden Lend-Lease To Ukraine, Is It A Lead Way To World War III
Since President Joe Biden of America signed into Law on Monday, the Ukraine Democracy Defense Lend-Lease Act of 2022, the government policy has dominated issue of discussion in America most especially its social media space.
Joe Biden after signing the Act, said the bill is to provide another important tool in Americans’ efforts to support Ukraine and its people in the fight to defend their country and democracy against Vladimir Putin’s war he described as brutal war.
“This afternoon, I signed the Ukraine Democracy Defense Lend-Lease Act of 2022 into law.
“This bill provides another important tool in our efforts to support Ukraine and its people in their fight to defend their country and democracy against Putin’s brutal war”, Joe Biden said.
Today, Donald Trump Junior took to his twitter page to express his displeasure over the bill.
“You can’t find baby formula in the United States right now but Congress is voting today to send $40 billion to Ukraine. Let’s put America First for a change”.
New York Times had interpreted the $40 billion Lend-Lease to Ukraine as another version that may help lead the way into another war in Europe, 81 years after what New York Times described as the original version of the bill helped lead the way into World War II.
The news media in its publication on Monday, narrated how Joe Biden provided intelligence information to Ukraine that led to the killing of a dozen of Russia Generals and the sinking of the Russia flagship.
“When President Biden signed a modern-day Lend-Lease Act on Monday, 81 years after the original version helped lead the way into World War II, he effectively thrust the United States even deeper into another war in Europe that has increasingly become an epic struggle with Russia despite his efforts to define its limits”, New York Times news report reads.
The Newspaper added that:
“Recent days have underscored just how engaged the United States has become in the conflict in Ukraine.
“In addition to the new lending program, which will waive time-consuming requirements to speed arms to Ukraine, Mr. Biden has proposed $33 billion more in military and humanitarian aid, a package that congressional Democrats plan to increase by another $7 billion.
“He sent the first lady for a secret visit to the war zone.
“And he provided intelligence helping Ukraine to kill a dozen generals and sink Russia’s flagship.
“But even after two and a half months, Mr. Biden is still anxious about appearing that the United States is fighting the proxy war that President Vladimir V. Putin of Russia says it is.
“While Mr. Biden publicly sends aid and signed the lend-lease bill on camera, off camera he was livid over leaks about the American intelligence assistance to Ukraine that led to the deaths of Russian generals and the sinking of the cruiser Moskva out of concern that it would provoke Mr. Putin into the escalation that Mr. Biden has strenuously sought to avoid”.
It would be recalled Russia President, Vladimir Putin had threatened to attack United States of America over its deployment of arms and war weapons to Ukraine.
Ever since April, the Russia President made the threat, the government is yet to carry out the action.
Russia began war on Ukraine soil on February 24, 2022 over what President Vladimir Putin described as special military operations to demilitarize the country.
