Osita Iheme, a very prominent star actor and one of the most used faces in comic memes, well known as Pawpaw has refused to speak on the killing of his elder brother by Unknown Gunmen enforcing the 5 days controversial Sit-at-home in Southeastern states.
It would be recalled that Unknown Gunmen on Friday, being the day one of the commencement of the 5 days sit-at-home order, shot and killed Prince Iheme, elder brother to the Nollywood star, Osita Iheme, in Imo State.
Since the incident, Pawpaw as he’s fondly called in one of the movies that brought him to prominence, has refused to speak or post via his official social media handles.
Many have condemned the killing of the Nollywood star actor elder brother on the ground that the actor is one of the major supporters and promoters of the Biafra movement and agitation.
The older Iheme was said to be riding with the Imo state Commissioner for Solid Minerals, Martins Eke when the gunmen ran into them and opened fire at Ubomiri, Mbaitoli local government area of the state.
The Imo state commissioner escaped the attack with a deep machete cut from the gunmen.
At Orji, Owerri North council area, an eye witness said the gunmen ran into a police checkpoint and killed one cop, while shooting sporadically and ordering motorists and passers-by to go home and observe sit-at-home.
“They ran into police checkpoint at Orji and opened fire on them, and killed one police man.
“Some of them were shouting – ‘Go home, today is sit-at-home’; people ran helter-skelter and they drove towards Okigwe road”, the source stated.
