Abuja-Kaduna Train Kidnapped Victims Begged For Life In New Video As 4 Days Remains
Victims of the Abuja-Kaduna Train Kidnapped after the terrorists known as bandits bombed the moving train on March 28, 2022 have appeared in new video begging the Federal Government of Nigeria and Pakistan to secure their release just as the seven days ultimatum given to FG by the terrorists to meet their demand or have the Kidnapped victims killed remains 4 days.
Families of the Kidnapped victims besieged Federal Government facilities in Abuja on Wednesday with placards of various inscriptions to protest and demand the release of their loved ones in captivity.
The terrorists had demanded from the government to release their members allegedly kept in a Yola detention facility.
The terrorists threatened to start killing the passengers in captivity within 7 days which is now 4 days left unless their demands are met.
Leaders of the terrorists group reportedly spoke on phone with the spokesman of Sheikh Ahmad Gumi, Malam Tukur Mamu, ‘And Dan Iyan Fika.
In the audio of the conversations between Malam Tukur Mamu and the leaders of the terrorists that executed the Abuja-Kaduna train attack as earlier published in some news media, the terrorists claimed that the Federal Government suspended the resumption of the train service because of their threats.
”The government suspended the resumption of the train service indefinitely because of our threats and we repeat, if our conditions are not met, the resumption of the train service is to the detriment of the government and the passengers”.
“We don’t need money. We have a good reason for doing what we did, until our demands are met none of the victims will come out alive even if it means we all die with them. They are well taken care of as you can see from the pictures we sent to you via WhatsApp but we assure you that this will not continue.
“We choose you (Tukur Mamu) to convey this important message to the government, the families of the victims and Nigerians in general because we believe you won’t alter our message and we have seen you severally with Sheikh Gumi in the forest, therefore, we recognized the fearlessness in you”, the terrorists said.
The leader of the terrorists; Abu Barra said that it’s been two months since the abduction and anything can happen to the abducted passengers henceforth.
He explained their reasons for the abduction as a retaliation for the arrest and detention of their children by the security agencies.
In the new video showing the victims of the abducted Abuja-Kaduna Train passengers, six passengers victims including a Pakistani, were seen in the footage.
As captured by LindaIkeji blog, the Pakistani who gave his name as Mohammed, called on the government of his country as well as the government of Nigeria to help secure their release.
“My name is Mohammed, I’m working here in Nigeria, but a foreign national, a Pakistani. We were abducted from the Abuja-Kaduna train on 28 March. We are here; 62 in number.”
“The conditions are not very good. I am appealing to the government of Nigeria; the government of Pakistan and the international community to help us”he said
Another passenger who gave his name as Mohammed Dehu, also appealed to the government to grant the demands of the terrorists so they can be released.
The terrorists, who accused the government of being insincere, gave a five-day ultimatum for the release of some of their children whom they claimed were in custody of the government. They claim their children were abducted by the government in Adamawa state and will only release the Abuja-Kaduna train victims if the government releases their children.
