Since the death of Mercy Mmesoma Obi well known as Ada Jesus, many Nigerians have questioned the efficacy of spiritual weapon of attack or curse on humans.

Some said it is not possible that the curses of death the General Overseer of Mountain of Holy Ghost Intervention and Deliverance Ministry, Prophet Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere publicly known as Odumeje and Nollywood actress, Rita Edochie placed on Ada Jesus could be responsible for the young star death.

Odumeje and Rita Edochie have reportedly placed a curse of death on Ada Jesus over Ada Jesus statement that Odumeje performs fake miracles and Rita Edochie sleeps with different men which she Ada Jesus do help her organize and arrange the men that sleeps with her.

This was a sensitive allegation that could have made her guilty of defamation of character in the eyes of the law if Odumeje and Rita Edochie were ready to prove her claims wrong through leagal means.

But not too long, Ada Jesus fell sick and became paralysed.

The sickness became more suspecious when she finds it difficulty to speak normally.

This made the sickness strange.

Till now, we are waiting for the doctors that attended to her and her family to know if the sickness that killed her have family history or if it is a problem she has been managing for long before curses were laid on her.

Nigeria law does not permit anyone to use curse or any spiritual means to seek redress when aggrived.

Using curse or threatening someone’s life with spiritual or supernatural power may be seen as a calculated attempt to cover up the truth and in the eyes of the law with good lawyer or lawyers, an evidence of pronouncement of a curse may be considered to be dangerous weapon that can cause harm.

The court maybe limited with the evidence of who actually use the curse to cause harm. Because the possibility of proving such beyond reasonable doubt may be difficult.

Such act, in our opinion is a threat to freedom of speech as guranteed in the Nigeria constitution.

Ada Jesus whose photographs show were very close to Odumeje and Rita Edochie have right to say whatever she decides to say and may face consequences of it according to law if she could not prove her point.

We are aware Ada Jesus tendered appology and begged for forgiveness due to her utterrances but the video that shows her making the appology proves she was under duress, battling for life as a result of the sickness or obviously ready to say anything to save her life.

So, in our opinion, such appology cannot be considered intentional or willful.

A willful confession or statement is known when the person is in a stable condition without threat to her life or under the influence of anything.

To put it clearly, every christian, muslim and every traditional witch practitioner believes in the efficacy of curse or possible spiritaul attack.

Pastors and other spiritual head of churches are known for making more money and fame for providing the services of helping people to prevent their lives and properties from being destroyed by enemies who use curse or spiritual waeapon.

Many Nigerians are giving their hard earn belongings as offering, tithe, purchase of spiritual preventive weapons like anointing oil, handkerchief, among other spiritual materials to avert enemies curses and attacks.

An average Nigerian today goes with Bible or spiritual material given to them by their spiritual head, either ‘babalawo’, pastor, other spiritual head of churhes, mosques, e.t.c.

It may be correct to say, a soildier and criminal in war front or vulnerable area believe more on the charm or spiritual weapon giving to them by his or her spiritual head than the Ak-47 or the general purpose machine gun he or she is holding.

It may be also correct that criminals and security operatives have more confidence in the the charm decribed here as spiritual bullet proof than the scientifically made ones.

Probably, Judges in court of law believe in charms or spiritual weapon of protection either as a muslim, christian, or traditional witch practioner in addition to security operatives given to them by government.

Why the confusion in Ada Jesus’s death.

We appealed to everyone to allow the bereaved family and friends decide the next line of action to take as to ensure their daughter right to life was not just trauncated like that by anyone without facing the repercurssion.
