Bakhmut Only In Our Hearts, Only Dead Russians In The Land – Zelenskyy

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy of Ukraine has said that there is nothing in the Ukrainian eastern city of Bakhmut, that Russia has destroyed everything but in a succeeding statement he said the only thing in the land of Bakhmut are dead Russians.

Zelenskyy stated this while fielding questions from journalists at the Japa city of Hiroshima on Saturday during the G-7 leaders meeting.

Zelenskyy stated this in reaction to the press release credited to the leader of Wagner group, a Russia mercenary contracted to takeover Bakhmut, Yevgeny Prigozhin on Saturday that the group has completely taken over Bakhmut.

According to Yevgeny Prigozhin, no Ukrainian military is left in Bakhmut, adding, that Wagner group stopped taking prisoners of war.

Videos from Wagner group showed them hoisting Russia flags at different locations on top of destroyed buildings.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy made a emotional response to the claims that Russia has taken control of the city of Bakhmut after a bloody eight-month battle by Moscow’s Wagner private army, with the support of Russian troops.

Zelenskky dismissed the clm and said he thought Ukraine had lost the city, adding;

“For today, Bakhmut is only in our hearts. There is nothing in this place.”

President Volodymyr Zelensky, while imploring the world’s wealthy leaders to continue supplying Ukraine with arms and money, stood in a place, Hiroshima, once with utter America military devastation to mourn the destruction of his country’s own city of Bakhmut.

It would be recalled that Hiroshima, was destroyed and devastated by America with an atomic bomb in 1945.

Zelensky remembering the devastation and rebuilding of Hiroshima, said that Ukraine’s cities could face a similar fate if the world does not help him rebuff Russia’s onslaught.

Zelensky after visiting the memorial America museum dedicated to those who died in the atomic bombing told reporters in quote:

“The pictures of ruined Hiroshima totally reminded me of Bakhmut and other similar settlements and towns.

“Now, Hiroshima is a rebuilt city, and we dream of rebuilding all our cities that are now in ruins, and every village where not a single house is left intact after Russian strikes.

“Our heroic people are turning history around so we can make war itself become a shadow.

“Bakhmut is not occupied by Russian Federation as of today. There are no two or three interpretations of those words.” But he acknowledged that the city has largely been leveled, saying all that remains is ground “and a lot of dead Russians.”

United States of America, USA President, Joe Biden, in a remark before meeting with Zelensky, said the United States would supply Ukraine with another $375 million in military assistance that he described as “a package that includes more ammunition artillery, armored vehicles to bolster Ukraine’s battlefield abilities.”

“The United States continues to help Ukraine respond, recover and rebuild,” Biden said.
