Ban On Open Grazing: I Don’t Know How You Become Nigeria Chief Law Officer, Free Movement Law Not For Cows, Spare Parts Don’t Destroy Farmland__Ex Ekiti CPS Lere Olayinka Tackles Justice Minister Abubakar Malami #OsazuwaAkonedo
Lere Olayinka, the Chief Press Secretary to Former Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose has called on the Federal Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Federation, Abubakar Malami to stop making undue and inappriopriate comparison between the ban of open grazing of cows by southern governors with possible ban of spare parts business in the northern area.
Abubakar Malami while speaking yesterday evening on Channels Television Politics Today programme said the action of the southern governors to ban open grazing is unconstitutional.
Malami added that how would people feel if the northern governors decided to come together and ban spare parts business in the northern part of Nigeria.
Lere Olayinka in some hours ago said he wondered how the Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami become the country chief law officer.
Lere Olayinka added that spare parts sellers do not use their business to destroy other people’s means of livelihood or use the business to kill, rape peoples’s wives and daughters as being done by the Nomadic cattle breeders.
If you help me see that Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, tell him that the freedom of movement enshrined in the constitution of Nigeria is not for COWS and other animals.
It is also not for cows to enter people’s farmlands, destroy their means of livelihood, rape their wives and daughters and kill them.
Or should we also allow SNAKE Farmers to move their snakes around or Poultry farmers to unleash their BIRDS on the streets of Nigeria?
I listened to AGF Malami comparing ban on Open Grazing by the Southern Governors with ban on Spare Parts sellers in the North and I couldn’t but wonder how we end up with this fellow as our Chief Law Officer.said Lere Olayinka
Are spare parts sellers using their business to destroy other people sources of livelihood as being done by Nomadic Cattle farmers?
Walahi I am still wondering how that man became a lawyer not to talk of being a SAN.
