
Bandits Block Abuja-Kaduna Road For Hours, Kidnap 30
Barely 24 hours, President Muhammadu Buhari aide on new media, Bashir Ahmad announced plans by the Federal Government to reopen the Abuja-Kaduna train route, terrorists well known as bandits have invaded and blocked the Abuja-Kaduna road, shot sporadically, injured both children and other commuters with 30 of the road users kidnapped on Tuesday evening.
It was gathered that the attackers took over the road between the hours of 4:30 p.m till 6p.m.
A video shows many of the road users sustained gunshots injuries from the terrorists bullets.
Over 5 buses were said to be emptied as the bandits took the occupants for hostage.
It was learnt that the attackers left behind those who sustained injuries.
An eyewitness, Muhammad Ibrahim, reportedly said a Zamfara State Transport Authority 18 seater bus, one Peugeot 406, two Toyota Corolla, a Golf, and several other vehicles were attacked by the terrorists.
It would be recalled that on March 28, 2022, an Abuja-Kaduna bound train was attacked by terrorist group known as bandits who bombed the rail line, killed some passengers and abducted many, fewer numbers of them freed while so many others still remain in captivity till date.
