Management of Air Peace has explained why its flight flying from Lagos State could not land at the airport in Owerri, the Imo State capital on Saturday.
According to Air Peace management in a press statement issued on Saturday, the flight returned to Lagos due to bird strike that occured around the landing gear of the plane.
The flight with registration number P47154, departed from Lagos State at 12 noon but could not land in Owerri due to the bird strike and thus, the pilot returned the flight and landed safely in Lagos.

Air Peace said there was no incident as all the passengers onboard disembarked from the flight safely and another flight deployed to airlift the passengers.
