President Muhammadu Buhari of Nigeria has said he wished his nation youths can go to school, work hard and stop the mentality passed across to the country by the colonial masters of government giving them jobs.

President Muhammadu Buhari made the call on Wednesday while responding to questions during live interview with Channels Television team at State House, Abuja.

According to President Muhammadu Buhari, an educated person is certainly better than an uneducated one.

President Muhammadu Buhari said Nigeria Youths should go to school and work hard in school to become self employed rather than thinking the government will provide them jobs.

The President said the era of Colonial Government providing jobs with cars and accomodations for newly graduated Nigerians is no longer workable and Nigeria Youths should stop expecting such treatment.

President Muhammadu Buhari said education is more important because it helps the beneficiary to develop his/her personal self.

President Muhammadu Buhari said education is not just meant to get a job or what the colonial masters influenced the nation with: of getting a job, have a house and go to work 8 O’clock and close by 2 O’clock.

It would be recalled prior to 2015 General election, President Muhammadu Buhari promised to provide 5 million jobs to reduce the high rate of unemployment in the country.
