Chief of Defence Staff, Lucky Irabor with other service chiefs are in Aso Rock this night in an emergency meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari over the death of Chief of Army Staff, General Ibrahim Attahiru who died along evelen others this evening in a plane crach while approaching Kaduna Air Port runway.

The meeting is speculated to be an opportunity to announce Attahiru successor.

The Presidency in a statement signed by one of the Presidential Spokespersons, Femi Adesina indicated that President Buhari received briefing on the Plane crash which led to the death of the Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Ibrahim Attahiru and others in State House.
