
Come Out And Vote, Police, DSS, Army, Others Begin Show Of Force In Anambra

Police, Military and other security agencies today 21 February 2023 embark on a show of force in demonstration of readiness and the assurance of protection of lives and properties, maintenance of law and order by improved personnel deployment and positioning of security forces to attend to security requests ahead, during and after the 2023 General Elections in the State.
The Show of Force led by the Commissioner of Police CP Echeng Echeng has the Military, Navy, DSS, the Nigeria Civil Defence Corps, Federal Road Safety, Immigration Service and other sister agencies in the convoy.

Anambra State Police Command today 22 February 2023 receive the newly Deployed Assistant Inspector General of Police AIG Eboka Friday psc, DSSRS and three Commissioners of Police posted to Zone 13 headquarters, Ukpo and the Command respectively for election duty in the Zone and State.
The Assistant Inspector-General of Police AIG Eboka Friday psc, DSSRS before his posting as the election supervisor of zone 13, comprising of Anambra and Enugu Command, was the AIG in charge of Zone 16. He shall supervise the three Commissioners of Police deployed to the three senatorial districts of the state including the Commissioner of Police Anambra State Police Command CP Echeng Echeng for the 2023 General Elections.

2023 GENERAL ELECTIONS: POLICE PLAY HOST TO ALL POLITICAL PARTIES IN ANAMBRA TO SIGN PEACE ACCORD
In a continuous effort of the Anambra State Police Command to ensure a peaceful and hitch-free 2023 election in the State.
The Command today 17 February 2023 plays a host of all the political parties/Stakeholders and initiated the signing of a peace accord for all political parties/Stakeholders in the state.
The Peace agreement is in line with the Inspector General Police’s desire to bequeath a legacy of entrenched democratic values to the country.
The Commissioner of Police, represented by the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Finance and Administration, DCP Peter U Ozigi notes that this is part of the Command’s strategy to further ensure a peaceful, secured, free, fair, and credible 2023 General Elections and It provides a unique opportunity to brainstorm on pathways to guaranteeing a stable internal security space, during and after the elections.
In attendance include Deputy Commissioner in charge of Operations, DCP John Obuagbaka, Commissioner for Home Land Affairs, Honourable Chikaodi Anara, Representative of INEC State REC, Mr Emmanuel Isong, HOD Election and Party Monitoring, Representative of Anambra State Traditional Rulers Council, His Royal Majesty, Igwe Sir Benneth Izuchukwu Emeka JP (Oke-ebo II of Umueri) and others.
