Cubana Chief Priest Whose Office As SA Empowered 2700 Imo Youths With Smart Phones Arrested By EFCC

It was a big celebration on February 20, 2022 in Imo State when the Governor, Hope Uzodimma gathered several Imo youths for a special Valentine’s Concert/Youth Tech Empowerment event.

Governor Hope Uzodimma at the event praised the efforts of his Special Adviser on Social Media Influence, Okechukwu Paschal Chibuike better known as Cubana Chief Priest for seeing through the empowerment of the Imo Youths with 2,700 of them getting Infinix Smart Phones each.

“In addition to the ongoing policies and programs we are embarking on to transform the fortunes of our youth, we empowered 2,700 of them with Infinix Smart Phones. This is to further support, encourage and boost their tech-based endeavors”, Hope Uzodimma said.

Just a month and some days after the event, Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC arrested the Imo State Special Adviser and Celebrity, Cubana Chief Priest on the allegations of money laundering and tax fraud.

EFCC is yet to officially state the offence committed by the Special Adviser on Social Media Influence.

His arrest was kept secret for days despite being a very well known personality.

The Socialite was arrested and detained at the Lagos airport on Thursday, but speculations had it that the anti-graft officials kept quiet about it due to pressure from his acquaintances and family, who warned the incident could complicate conditions for others suspected of being involved in the alleged racket.

The speculations had it that the real allegations against Cubana Chief Priest may not be unrelated with internet fraud.
