Don’t Leave Nigeria, LAPO Founder Godwin Ehigiamusoe Begs Talented Nigerians
Founder of Lift Above Poverty Organization, Godwin Ehigiamusoe has called on talented Nigerians not to leave the country.
Godwin Ehigiamusoe made the call at the weekend in Benin City during the Black Tie Dinner and Award Night ceremony organized by Market Place of Ideas, MPOi held at Protea Hotel.
According to the statement issued by the Executive Director of Africa Network for Environment and Economic Justice, ANEEJ, Reverend David Ugolor, the LAPO founder, Godwin Ehigiamusoe appealed to talented Nigerians to generate more ideas around the economy in the country. and explore its opportunities.
“Let’s us generate more ideas around the economy”, Godwin Ehigiamusoe said.
Godwin Ehigiamusoe emphasized the need telented Nigerians should not consider leaving the country and be more concerned in exploring the opportunities in Nigeria economy.
It would be recalled LAPO Microfinance Bank which is one of the subsidiaries of Lift Above Poverty Organization took a position in 1987 during economic challlenge in Nigeria and built a speciallized banking system that encourages people to take loans from bank without collateral.
Today, many commercial banks that were very strict in demanding adequate collateral before they could award loans; now administer loans even above one million naira without collateral following the successes LAPO Micro Finance Bank have recorded.
