Family Takes Burial Of ‘Juju’ Chief Priest Oguname To Church For Thanksgiving

Head and Founder of Africa Ancestral Spiritual Ministry, Nosa Uwagboe known as Doctor Oguname who died less than 4 days after arriving Benin City to propagate Africa spirituality and tradition in contrast to Christian doctrine will be laid to rest on September 10, 2021 and after that a thanksgiving service will be held at a church as part of the burial activities.

The family of Doctor Oguname in a poster made available for the burial arrangement, said on September 12, 2021 being Sunday, a thanksgiving service will be held at Gods Household Ministries at 33b, Edebiri street, off Upper Sakponba road in Benin City.

Doctor Oguname died on August 18 after arriving Benin from abroad on August 14.

Doctor Oguname was given an historical welcome with cultural display at Benin Air Port.

In a video posted by Benin based Independence Television, ITV, Doctor Oguname was seen paying homage to man made statues at the Oba Ovonramwen square popularly called Kings’ square or Ring road in Benin city and receiving white native chalk powder, a common symbol of idol worship in Africa.

Doctor Oguname said on arrival that he came to liberate the people of Benin on the efficacy of Africa spirituality and traditions.

Doctor Oguname had on August 7, 2021 posted a video on his Facebook page that 98 percent of pastors in Nigeria are not christians, adding they are only using the Christian doctrine as a business format.

Conflicting reports about the cause of Doctor Oguname’s death indicated that the priest may have died while performing incantations at his shrine.

Doctor Oguname is survived by both parents and other family members according to statement signed by the family for the burial arrangement.
