Barrister Aloy Ejimakor, one of the defense Lawyers to the detained Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has described the newly added 8 counts charges of terrorism against the Biafra leader at the eve of his resumed court trial tomorrow as nothing but a delay tactics that will end up in futility.
Ejimakor in an interview with Daily Post as published few minutes ago said: “The latest amendment coming so late on the eve of the trial smacks of dilatory tactics.
“Better yet, it is an exercise in futility, because it cannot overcome the vested jurisdictional defects springing from the extraordinary rendition of Nnamdi Kanu. Ultimately, the charges won’t stick”.
It would be recalled Federal Government in a fresh charges against the detained Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu added 8 counts charges of terrorism to the earlier 7 counts treasonable charges preferred against the Biafra leader.
