Family of the young girl, Elohor Nancy Williams whose body was found lifeless and some parts harvested by her suspected Yahoo boyfriend in Benin City on Christmas Eve have said the suspect who is currently on the run lured their daughter to his house by faking sickness.
Some of the family members who spoke with the Independent Television News crew said the deceased, Elohor Nancy Williams left home on Christmas Eve with sleeping garment.
It was gathered the family raised alarm on her whereabout on Sunday when they noticed she didn’t return home to celebrate the Christmas with them on Saturday.
The suspect, name withheld who is said to have returned from Ghana recently, allegedly lured the victim to his house near Igue-Adolor secondary school in the Ovia North East Local Government Area of Edo State by faking a sickness.
The owner of the house where the crime was committed, Ifueko Ogieriakhi said following the alarm raised by the girl’s family, he searched round and found out that the door to the suspected Yahoo boy’s apartment was locked.
The landlord added that they broke the door to the suspect apartment and the body of the girl was found lifeless with matchet cuts and bloodstains spilled over the bed and wall.
The mother of the deceased, Comfort Oniovosa said the suspect after killing her daughter, picked up the deceased phone and deleted his own phone number from the phone and hide the deceased phone and the cutlass used in killing her under the bed.
The deceased mother added that the suspect also placed a photograph of her daughter under the bed.
The bereaved mother said the suspect gave the deceased a matchet cut on her hand and neck.
