Katsina State Governor, Aminu Bello Masari yesterday took to social media express his concern about the security challenges in Nigeria.

Katsina is the home state of President Muhammadu Buhari.

According Governor Aminu Bello Masari, he could not remember his birthday least to say celebrating it due to insecurity in the state and Nigeria in general.

He said it took the courage of his aides who surprised him with birthday cake before he could remember it was his birthday.

Having spent most part of the past year in distress, caused by the Security challenges we are faced with, it’s difficult for one to remember birthdays let alone celebrate them. I was however, astonished by my aides, who summoned courage, despite all that, to mark my birthday.
