Both he and the Ukrainian people can count on the UK’s continued solidarity and support.
We will always stand with Ukraine.
The United States and the United Kingdom are the closest of allies.
I look forward to working together with President Joe Biden to enhance stability across the world and continue our leading role in support of the people of Ukraine.

This morning (Wednesday) I set out to Cabinet the enormous task we face, and why I am confident that this government can rise to the challenge and deliver for the whole United Kingdom.
Now is the time to get to work and earn the trust of the British people.
Brilliant to drop into tonight’s Diwali reception in Number 10.
I will do everything I can in this job to build a Britain where our children and our grandchildren can light their Diyas and look to the future with hope.

Pleased to speak to Micheál Martin tonight, discussing how the UK and Ireland as close neighbours & friends can work together in the coming months.
I also thanked him for Ireland’s steadfast support for Ukraine.

We have much in common, not least the challenges we are facing with the economy and climate change. The UK and EU will work together as friends and allies to tackle the challenges ahead.
