All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential candidate in the forthcoming 2023 general election, Bola Ahmed Tinubu has picked his running mate, in the person of former Borno State Governor, Ibrahim Shettima.
The choice of Shettima as a vice presidential candidate by the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, drew the attention of a human rights activist, Adeyanju Deji.
Adeyanju Deji said the former Borno State Governor, was at the center of Chibok school girls abduction in 2014.
Adding that, the former governor has alot to say about the Boko Haram terrorists.
Adeyanju Deji said that Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s pick of Ibrahim Shettima as his running mate is a strong “ticket”.
“Tinubu and the APC are saying they don’t give a damn. The message of the Muslim-Muslim ticket is too loud.
“In fact, they are having a good laugh and with a divided opposition, they will laugh harder in February.
“Tinubu’s pick of Shettima is a very strong ticket. His VP pick will naturally deliver Borno state to him.
“Shettima was at the Centre of Chibok girls abduction and also has a lot to say about Boko Haram.
“He once said if he says all he knew about Boko Haram, the country will burn”.
