Angered youths, in large numbers overpowered men of the Ebubeagu security operatives at Oba community in Anambra state on Tuesday when the security operatives shot severally at the commander of the Anambra State Vigilantes Group in the community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was gathered that the Vigilantes Commander was inside his private Lexus Jeep vehicle, plying through the Oba-Nnewi old road, when men of the Ebubeagu security operatives shot severally at him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eyewitnesses said the commander of the vigilantes group escaped death through the help of magical power as several shots at him did not penetrate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The youths in order to maintain peace, forced the captured Ebubeagu security operatives to the Palace of the traditional ruler of the community, who came out and calmed the situation, according to residents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
