Nigeria Civil war icon, former Head of Military Government and two time President of Nigeria, Olusegun Obasanjo as he moved with heathy steps to kick football, jog long distance and showed some amazing dancing skills to mark his 85 years birthday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In a now viral video, Former President Olusegun Obasanjo was seen and participated in a novelty match on his 85th birthday celebration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It was learnt, the match was played at the football pitch of the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library in Abeokuta, Ogun State.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Olusegun Matthew Ogunboye Aremu Obasanjo<\/strong> as the former president full names, was born on March 5, 1937 in the village of Ibogun-Olaogun of the present day Ogun State to a farming family of the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.m.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Owu_Kingdom\">Owu<\/a>\u00a0branch of the\u00a0Yoruba.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Observers said Obasanjo played a senior role in the Nigeria Civil war between the Nigeria Government led by Yakubu Gowon and the Biafra separatists led by Odumegwu Ojukwu  in accepting the separatists surrender in 1970. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In 1975, a military coup established a junta with Obasanjo as part of its ruling triumvirate and the following year Obasanjo was appointed by the Supreme Military Council as Head of State after the assassination of Murtala Muhammed on February 13, 1976.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Obasanjo later became two time elected civilian President that ruled Nigeria between 1999 and 2007.<\/p>\n<div class=\"likebtn_container\" style=\"\"><!-- LikeBtn.com
