Nigeria Vice President Yemi Osibanjo visited Anambra State today and become the first senior member of the Presidency to use the newly constructed Anambra International Cargo and Passenger Airport built by the immediate past Governor of the State, Willie Obiano.
The Vice President arrived the airport, abandoned the presidential armoured vehicle and proceeded with the incumbent Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo IVM G80 Jeep official car.
A photograph published by the Anambra State Government House Press, sees Vice President Yemi Osibanjo well seated looking comfortably inside Innoson car with a happier smile on his face.
IVM G80 Jeep is a bullet proof vehicle and one of the products of the Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Limited, a Nigerian automobile manufacturer which it’s headquarters is situated at Nnewi in Anambra state. The company was founded in 2007 by Chief Innocent Chukwuma Nwala.
According to Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo, the Innoson motor offered the vice president a warm welcome to the state.
Governor Soludo said:
This morning I received His Excellency, the Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Professor Yemi Osinbajo.
First, at the Anambra International Cargo and Passenger airport.
Then a brief reception in his honour at the Anambra Governor’s Lodge, Amawbia.
I have enjoyed cordial working relationship with Mr Vice President over time; both at the Africa Finance Corporation, AFC, and of course he is currently the Chairman of the National Economic Council to which I am a member.
The IVM G80 jeep provided the perfect ambience that gave Mr Vice President a warm welcome to the Light of the Nation.
I hope he relishes the rest of our delightful delicacies.
