Insecurity: Obaseki To Issue State ID Cards To Edo Residents

Today, while addressing stakeholders at a security meeting in Auchi, I disclosed that as part of measures to check insecurity in the state, we are concluding plans to commence the issuance of identification cards to residents across the 18 local government areas of the state.

Our security operatives must be commended for continually carrying out surveillance operations in all the forests in the state.

We will provide additional logistics for security operations in Edo North, particularly the provision of more motorcycles for use in the rural areas.

Open grazing has been banned in Edo since the 27th of May this year when I signed the Anti-Grazing Law and security agencies are going to get the needed support to enforce the law.
