The Government of Palestine in few hours ago issued a news release and made known through the social media account of the President, Mahmoud Abbas over the conversation the President today in Ramallah had with America President, Joe Biden on phone.
The news release is presented thus:
Phone call between President Abbas and President Biden
American commitment to the two-state solution.
The President demands an immediate cessation of aggression against our Palestinian people.
Palestine’s head of state Mahmoud Abbas received a telephone call from US President Joseph Biden, during which the latest developments and events were examined.

His sovereignty, U.S President Biden, briefed on the attacks against our Palestinian people in Jerusalem, Gaza and the West Bank from the Israeli war machine that killed hundreds of our people, wounded thousands and displaced thousands of families from their homes.
Assaulted worshippers in the blessed Aqsa Mosque, and denied them access to Al-Aqsa Mosque, the Church of Resurrection and attempts to steal our people’s lands in Sheikh Jarah.
Mr. President, President Biden demanded the intervention of the American administration to put an end to Israeli attacks against our Palestinian people everywhere.
President Abbas, President Biden, reported that he has made extensive contacts, to stop the Israeli aggression against our people and reach the calm.
His sovereignty assured President Biden that security and stability will be achieved when the Israeli occupation of the land of the State of Palestine ends with East Jerusalem.

Mr. President, the Palestinian side is ready to work with the Quartet, to achieve peace on the basis of international legitimacy decisions, and to work with the American Administration to strengthen bilateral relations and remove any obstacles in its way.
On the other hand, President Abbas emphasized that the elections will be reorganized once Israel adheres to agreements on its action in Jerusalem.
U.S President Biden, in turn, emphasized the necessity of calming down and reducing violence in the region, noting that the United States is making efforts with the parties concerned to achieve this goal.
President Biden emphasized the commitment of the United States to the two-state solution, and the importance of giving hope to the Palestinian people for peace.
The U.S President, emphasized the opposition against any unilateral measures such as settlement, as well as against the evacuation of Palestinians from their homes in Sheikh Jarrah and East Jerusalem, emphasizing the need to maintain the status quo in the Holy Mosque.
