Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has condemned the payment of ransom to terrorists who killed victims.
Nnamdi Kanu in a message this morning said terrorists in the Northern part of the country are being rewarded for kidnapping and killing Christian students.

Nnamdi Kanu made the statement in reaction to the media reports credited to Kaduna based Islamic cleric, Sheikh Abubakar Gumi who in the statement asked Central Bank of Nigeria to help pay the 100 million naira ransom demanded by the kidnappers of the students of Federal College of Forestry Mechanization, Afaka.
The remaining 29 of the students were released yesterday. No official report indicate if the 100 million naira ransom demanded by the kidnappers were paid but close watchers affirmed the money was paid to secure the release of the affected students.
Nnamdi Kanu in his words said:

Your #OneNigeria is when Fulani ISLAMIC terrorists get N100m REWARD, deceptively called ransom for murdering 3 innocent #Christian students.
And the money was paid soon after an Islamic cleric literarily ordered your Central Bank to cough up the money. Unbelievable….
