Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has accused people of Fulani tribe to be the force behind the blockage of foodstuffs from North to South.

Nnamdi Knau in a tweet some hours ago said Nigerians know that fulanis don’t farm but they decided to block food supply to South to show they are ready for war.

OsazuwaAkonedo reports there is currently food shortage in most States of the Southwest, South South and Southeastern parts of Nigeria since last week some unions in the North stopped food supply to the south.

Markets survey yesterday indicated that most traders that traveled from South to North to purchase farm products returned empty handed.

Scarcity of some food products like fresh tomatoes that was sold last Friday at a cost of N300 is now N1,000 in the southern of the country.

Nnamdi Kanu also accused President Muhammadu Buhari of tolerating the economic sabotage, which Nnamdi Kanu said it’s orchestrated by the Fulanis.
