Zamfara State Governor, Bello Matawalle in a message few hours ago said the government has secured the release of the 300 Government Girls Secondary School students kidnapped by terrorists last Friday.

Governor Bello said the government succeeded in the release of the girls despite hurdles by some persons to scuttle the rescue mission.

Bello added that the rescue mission was successful after dialogue and mediation with repentant bandits the government granted amnesty recently.
