Nigerians reacted to a video that went viral showing a little girl calling his late father helplessly with her voice filled with emotions as she constantly run round the vehicle conveying her late father to final resting place.

The little girl in some occasion screamed, hit her hand repeatedly hard on the burial poster of the deceased pasted on the car bonnet and back windscreen; trying to wake her dad up and make him respond to her call.

Late Prince Iyen was said to be the Senior Special Assistant to Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki who died due to his inability to raise fund to undergo medical transplant for kidney.

According to ChrisOsaMediaGroup, Prince Iyen lived in the Edo State legislative staff quarters and was a great supporter of Godwin Obaseki before, during and after the war like September, 2020 Governorship election; before he gave up the ghost due to dearth of fund to finance his medical bill.

“Prince Iyen who hails from Orhionmwon in Edo state was a Senior Special Assistant (SSA) to Governor Godwin Obaseki, he died after he was diagnosed of kidney disease and was unable to raise complete money for kidney transplant “, according to ChrisOsaMediaGroup.

Some of the Nigerians who commented on the issue via Lindaikejiblog amongst other social media accounts wondered why the State Government could not take up the medical bill.

The dead man was among the special assistants who were Oshiomhole’s nominees in Obaseki’s inner cabinet. He resigned to spite Obaseki during the campaigns probably on the orders and solidarity with Adams Oshiomhole. He wasnt (was not) serving 0baseki when the ailment was diagnosed. Obaseki is not to be blamed for his predicament. May the soul of the departed rest in
