This new version is obviously a right step in the right direction to make millions of WordPress users really happy.

I can now insert blocks into my site at easy without visiting my WordPress admin dashboard.

I must sincerely thank you guys, the WordPress happiness engineers team for responding to my queries or demands after extensive days of consultation.

As at yesterday, when the team asked me to uninstall my WordPress 4.4 version, update phone system and re-install the WordPress application, little did I know that most of the queries or demands that have resorted to some days of sleepless nights have been answered.

The WordPress 4.4 version upgraded to 16.9 on March 20, 2021 is an application that will help many users to be more useful to their viewers and advertising partners.

I took time to study the behaviour of some of the social media browsers like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Telegram, Pinterest, LinkedIn among others and I discovered that some of the blocks including the VideoPress are not compatible with some of the browsers.

Until I discovered one of the blocks which am happy the block is included in this new version.

Am saying this because one of the reviewers on google play store noted that the new version don’t have so many blocks like the old version.

This shows many businesses or site users were posting and using blocks without knowing that some if not many of their expected audiences hardly or don’t get the message due to browser policies of many social media organisations.

I appreciate WordPress for streamlining the blocks to the ones compatible with all social media.

Am impress with your good work.

This is not to say the fact that it could be more better if the arrow keys used in moving blocks up and down in this new version is replaced with numbers just the way the footer widgets are controlled by numbers.

I support your decision to do away with the Classic Editor writing format since this Block Editor writing format will be more beneficial to users once they studied and learned how to use the new application.

The blocks will enable many businesses most especially the print media to combine the two tiers of traditional media practice of print, television and radio broadcasting since some of the blocks in the new version is properly improved upon and it enables manual control of how site editors want content to behave on the web.

This is to say specifically to Nigeria media organisations, that a careful study of the new application will enable them see more reasons to control their media contents in a way to drive more visitors to their sites so that the advertiser will have value for his/her money.

Advert is very key to Journalism practice. This may explain why many Nigeria newspaper and broadcast organizations can’t pay staff salary.

Because many Nigeria media is making improper use of the internet network. Or they feel intimidated by undue competition.

Undoubtedly, Facebook content like many other social media platforms will not or hardly will they allow you access to full read or view while on the site of another party. You must visit their site .

This piece of information may be valuable to Nigeria Media Organisations so to make their site valuable to advertisers.

I want to also appreciate you, WordPress Foundation for partnering with Anchor who made OsazuwaAkonedo posts easily converted to audio version and broadcast through many platforms.

For few days now, many international podcasts have indicated interest, accepted OsazuwaAkonedo audio broadcast and some listeners across the globe have started playing the audio.

Apple few days ago accepted OsazuwaAkonedo audio broadcast and google analytics shows listeners from various countries are enjoying the shared information.

This is in addition to Anchor, Spotify, Breaker, Google Podcasts, Pocket casts and Radio Public that have earlier accepted and started broadcasting OsazuwaAkonedo audio posts in their platforms.
