[Video] Nigerians Block Buhari Gate In London, UK Police Smiles With Protesters #OsazuwaAkonedo #HarassBuhariOutofLondon
Reno Omokri, fornmer Presidential Aide on New Media to Goodluck Ebele Jonathan yesterday matched action with words as he led other Nigerians to block the entrance gate of the Abuja House where President Muhammadu Buhari is residing in London.
Reno Omokri who since on Thursday has been campaigning for Nigerians living in London to harass President Muhammadu Buhari, left his base in America to personally lead the protest in London.
There was a mid drama moment after the protest began yesterday.
City of London police men questioned the protesters, puting a pause to the protest but after interaction with the protesters, the London policemen were seen smiling with the protesters and watched while the protest continued.
According to Reno Omokri, President Muhammad Buhari supporters called the police but after subjecting the London police men to certain questions, the lawenforcement officers let him go and established that the protest was lawful.
“General Muhammadu Buhari’s people called the police on me. I was questioned and let go.
“The police established that we had broken no laws and we were observing proper #COVID19 protocols.
“This government’s attempt to stop (the protest) failed big time! #BuhariTormentor.
“When General Muhammadu Buhari’s people called the City of London Police on me this afternoon, I calmly asked the officer questioning me this question:
“Officer, has Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II, ever come to Nigeria to access healthcare? So, why should you be called on me when I am asking my President to return to Nigeria to use our hospitals?’
“The police officer was touched. He told me I was within my rights and flashed the thumbs up sign, and allowed the #HarassBuhariOutOfLondon to continue. Buhari’s people failed big time!
“Just compare the treatment the Nigerian police gave Mr Macaroni with the amazing treatment The City of London Police gave me today.
“I must thank their officers. They were called by General Muhammadu Buhari’s people to stop me. If it were in Buhari’s Nigeria, they would have beaten me black and blue.
“Rather, they questioned me, and then satisfied, they allowed the #HarassBuhariOutofLondon protest to continue.
“They even stayed a while and listened after questioning me. This is the type of country we want Nigeria to be.
“We cannot be a country where murderous, so called repentant Boko Haram terrorists are rehabilitated at government expense, and bloodthirsty bandits are negotiated with, but peaceful, unarmed #EndSARS protesters are brutally shot and killed for calling for good governance.
“And then when the people complain, you make their killers ambassadors”, said Reno Omokri.
