Political activist, Adeyanju Deji has condemned the statement credited to the Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu that the Indigenous People of Biafra, I.P.O.B is responsible for the early morning jail break and Nigeria Police Headquarters attack on Monday in Owerri, the Imo State capital.

Adeyanju Deji said Boko Haram claimed responsibility for the military aircraft that was shot down recently but the military authority faulted Boko Haram claim, adding why would Inspector General of Police be forcing Imo jail break on I.P.O.B.
Deji said in quote: “I.P.O.B says they are not responsible for Imo Prison & Police Command attack but the IG of Police is insisting they are the ones without any concrete evidence.
“Boko Haram had claimed responsibility for shooting down Alpha Jet but the military said they were not the ones.
