Kogi State Governemt has commended and praised some residents who assaulted two Buhari Must Go protesters in Lokoja, the state capital.
A viral Video shows two protesters were being molested and forced to erase inscriptions painted on the wall by some residents in Lokoja recently.
Kogi State Deputy Governor, Edward Onoja refer to the protesters as suspecious characters caught in the act of vandalism and trespass.
The Kogi State Deputy Governor said the government is proud of the Lokoja residents for effecting the citizen arrest.
Eward Onoja stated this yesterday while reacting to the questions asked by the Founder of Sharareporters, Omoyele Sowore.

Omoyele Sowere confronted the Deputy Governor and asked why he allowed his boys to beat and molest the two Buhari must go protesters in Lokoja.
Excerpts of the Kogi State Deputy Governor, Edward Onoja is presented thus:
Dear Sowore, I know this may be a foreign concept to you since you are the most prolific vandal in Nigeria when it comes to defacing public or private property and thoroughfares with graffiti, but it is actually
still a crime.

The fact that you have arrogated yourself the right to spray-paint
your messages wherever you like in the name of your discredited revolutionary credentials does not mean other decent, law-abiding citizens have done the same.
l am proud of my Lokoja residents whoeffected a citizens’ arrest of a pair of suspicious characters caught in the act of vandalism, trespass, etc.
We protest, peacefully, and we let dissenting voices scream all they want, but after the destruction of critical public infrastructure and stores by imported arsonists during
the #EndSARS protests, Kogi people have become less tolerant of mercenaries trucked in from other states to unsettle a citizenry minding its business.

My condolences on the severe pains which sincere citizen action by Lokoja people in aid of their city and liberties has caused you.
It is indeed a refreshing departure
from as opposed to your puerile
affectations of outrage.
