Uganda Opposition Leader, Bobi Wine in few hours ago has sent a distress message for fear of being killed by government forces.
Bobi Wine is challenging the presidential election outcome that declare the incumbent President, Yoweri Museveni winning.
Museveni has been in power since 1986.
According to Bobi Wine, soldiers jumped his fence and took control of his home.
“We are under siege. Soldiers in UPDF uniform and others in plain clothes but carrying guns have jumped over our fence and taken control of my home. None of them is speaking to us”.
Bobi Wine in earlier message prior to the election wondered why his private security guards were disarmed and withdrawn.
He said he has been using the private security outfit for over 12 years.
Prior to the election day, the incumbent President Yoweri Museveni who is seeking sixth term in office banned social media in the country.
According to Museveni, he took the decision because Facebook suspended his supporters accounts.
