Nigerian Army Organizes Training On Human Rights

Nigerian Army has organized training/sensitization workshop for its personnel in Kaduna with a view to deepen its human rights obedience while carrying out operations.

Information from the Army Public Relations unit few minutes ago indicated that the army in an effort to deepen troops understanding and appreciation of Human Rights issues and their impact on military operations, the Army Headquarters Department of Civil Military Affairs on Tuesday 12 April 2022 organized Human Rights Law Sensitization Workshop for Nigerian Army personnel at military Depot in Zaria, Kaduna State.

The theme of the Sensitization Workshop: “Enhancing the Professionalism and Responsiveness of the Nigerian Soldier through the proper Observance of Humanitarian and Human Rights Laws”.

The army unit said participants were drawn from Depot Nigerian Army, Nigerian Army School of Military Police, Nigerian Army School of Legal Service and Nigerian Army School of Physical Training as well as units and formations located in Zaria.
