
Obaseki Commissions Hotel Built By Former Governor Lucky Igbinedion
Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki has commissioned hotel in the Benin metropolitan area of the state, built by the former governor of the state, Lucky Igbinedion.
Governor Godwin Obaseki made this known few hours ago via his social media accounts with photographs of the hotel building attached to the post.
Lucky Igbinedion served as two time governor of Edo between 1998 and 2007.
Lucky Igbinedion led Edo State Government was accused of several corrupt practices and years of underdevelopment.
This may be the first time, the former governor, Lucky Igbinedion is making public his business investment in Edo State.
According to Governor Godwin Obaseki, he will continue to provide incentives among others to boost business growth and inflow of investment into the state.
“My administration will continue to sustain efforts at providing infrastructure, security and other incentives to boost business growth and the inflow of investments into the state.
“I gave this assurance while commissioning Oti Hotel, owned by a former governor of the state, Chief Lucky Igbinedion, at Sapele Road in the state capital, commending the former governor for raising the bar in the hospitality sector in the country”, Governor Godwin Obaseki said.
