
Our Security Network Is Robust In Imo State – Uzodimma Replies Comment
Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State has continued his social media engagement with his people.
After posting on social media via his personal accounts that he read opinions of Imolites expressed via the comment section of his social media pages during the holiday, the governor continued few minutes ago to reply more complaints from the people through his Facebook page.
A Facebook user with the account name, Ebuka Matthew had complained via the comment section of the governor Facebook page that the governor should extend his work to the people of Ideato North, most especially the people in Arondizugo town, saying, for the past 25 years they have not seen NEPA lights or flash of it.
Adding, bad roads especially in Ikpa Ocha area of Arondizugo need urgent attention as criminals took advantage of the road to kidnap and kill people on daily basis in the area.
“Governor Hope, please extend your work to the good people of Ideato North, especially Arondizugo town, for the past 25 years we never see lights flash, no NEPA lights.
“Bad roads, Arondizugo needs urgent attention. Some parts of Arondizugo especially Ikpa ocha is a no go area, people are being kidnapped or killed around that area daily. Do something.
“Arondizugo is an ancient town please, do something sir, abeg help the good people of izuogu to smile again, do this and our people will be eternally grateful, we need light, good durable roads, and investors please”, Ebuka Matthew said.
Governor Hope Uzodimma replied the Facebook user through the comment section, saying, the security network in the state is robust and members of the community should collaborate with the security operatives to quicken the process of addressing the insecurity.
Governor Hope Uzodimma said: “Ebuka Matthew, Our security network is robust across the State.
“While there may be pocket of violence by some criminal elements, the security agencies are doing the best in handling these.
“However, a collaboration with the security units in your town and Local Government Area would quicken the process.
“Therefore, I advise that while the Government is handling the issue, let the Communities join hand in areas such as whistle blowing, etc.
“Also, note that our rural development programs are being rolled out gradually and sooner than later, we shall cover necessary areas. Thank you”.
