Nollywood Actor, Yul Edochie has called on the general public to save themselves from activities of church he described as a business organization.
Yul Edochie made the call yesterday after Bishop David Oyedepo of Living Faith Church explained why over 40 or more pastors were sacked by the church.
Church in the eyes of the law is a religious body registered as a non profit making organization.
The head pastor and founder of Living Faith Church, Bishop David Oyedepo said the pastor in the viral video, Peter Godwin and others were sacked because the church management considered them unfruitful or unproductive in the tasks assigned to them.
Bishop Oyedepo dismissed the claim that the pastors were sacked because they could not generate income for the church.
Bishop Oyedepo in a video while responding to the issue on Sunday, did not state the offence the sacked pastors committed but Pastor Peter Godwin in the viral video said they did not commit any offence, adding, he was very active in the discharge of his duty, they were only invited to the state Headquarters and given sack letter.
Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie while reacting to the development, said pastors don’t hide it anymore that church has become a business.
Dem no dey hide am again oo.said Yul Edochie.
Church na business now.
Brother, sister, na you go save yourself.
