Facebook, one of the most visited social media platforms in the world has blacklisted Reno Omokri, former Presidential Spokesperson to Goodluck Ebele Jonathan on New Media as angry Nigerians continued to wage war against the former presidential aide for allegedly trying to incite, instigate ethnic war in Nigeria.
Angry Nigerians for days have continued to raise and sign petitions for various social media platforms where Reno Omokri has large followers and Influence, to remove the former presidential aide, over his comment on the presidential candidate of Labour Party, LP, Peter Obi.
Reno Omokri had said that, Peter Obi in a statement, referred to himself as a pilot and the likes of Rabiu Kwankwaso of NNPP among others as mere drivers.
Reno Omokri added that the North heard Peter Obi.
Reno Omokri’s statement infuriated many Nigerians, mostly those from the North, who accused the former presidential aide of using manipulative, skillful techniques, deliberate misrepresentation and misinterpretation of Peter Obi’s words to try to cause ethnic conflict between the Hausa and Igbo people for the advantage of his alleged pay masters.
A check carried out by OsazuwaAkonedo intelligence team on Sunday morning, revealed that Facebook has blacklisted Reno Omokri verified page.
New followers are being warned seriously by Facebook, to reconsider their thoughts before liking or following Reno Omokri on his Facebook page.
When a new follower intend to like Reno Omokri page, Facebook will prevent the person and pop up a banner that covers the full screen, to warn the person to reconsider his or her thought before following the former presidential aide.
