Reno Omokri is currently trending on social media but not for a good reason.

He had made statement against the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, over the presidential candidate’s speech, Reno Omokri described as referring to himself as a pilot and the likes of the NNPP presidential candidate, Rabiu Kwankwaso and other political candidates as mere drivers.

Reno Omokri went ahead and said the North heard Peter Obi.

This angered Nigerians, who accused Reno Omokri of using manipulative techniques to incite Hausa people against the Igbos.

Many took to the social media, demanding the different media platforms to ban or remove Reno Omokri from their platforms, accusing the former Presidential Spokesperson to Goodluck Ebele Jonathan on New Media of trying to cause ethnic war in Nigeria with his alleged deliberate misrepresentation or misinterpretation of Peter Obi words.

While Reno Omokri continued to trend on social media platforms for days, on Saturday morning, Nigerians adopted a twist, after Reno Omokri raised alarm that his life, wife and children are in danger. That, the people he suspected are Obidients, Peter Obi supporters allegedly following him and his family behind.

Nigerians took to the comment sections of the post on his various social media pages to ask, which of his wife and children, Reno Omokri is talking about.
