Poverty Is Why People Are Religious, Churchy In Africa – Reno Omokri
[jp_post_view]
Former Presidential Spokesperson to Goodluck Ebele Jonathan on New Media, Reno Omokri has described poverty as the reason why many people in Africa have strong feeling or belief on religion and excessively devoted and often narrow minded on church activities.
Reno Omokri who is also a pastor in a statement few hours ago said many people looked more religious and churchy in Africa but when they relocate abroad and see their prayer requests are easily met in the developed world, they lose their religiosity.
Reno Omokri said religion is a reaction to poverty, adding, that is why after salvation, Jesus Christ taught more about wealth because without wealth; according to Reno Omokri, your spiritual health is at risk in a manner that poverty alters your perspective which makes you blame ancestral curses and enemies in your village for your poverty when in fact the problem is your location.

Poverty is why many people are religious and churchy.
When these same people relocate abroad and see that their prayer requests are easily met in their new locations, they lose their religiosity.
Religion is a reaction to poverty. Faith is a more reliable judge of Godliness.
That is why after salvation, Christ taught more about wealth.
Because without wealth, your spiritual health is at risk.
Poverty alters your perspective.
You make enemies out of innocent people.
You blame ancestral curses and village people for your poverty, when in fact the problem is your location, which is overpopulated and underfunded.
And fear of enemies, rather than love for God drives you to church.
Reno Omokri said.
