His Royal Majesty, Omo N’oba N’edo Uku Akpolokpolo, Oba Ewuare II, the Benin monarch, welcomes Quadruplets from his fifth wife, Princess (Oloi) Aisosa.
The Oba made the announcement few hours ago at a gathering of Palace chiefs, visitors and other dignitaries at his Palace in Benin city.
Oba Ewuare II had in May 2020, welcome his first Prince since he ascended the throne of his forebears as the 40th Oba of Benin from her Royal Highness, Princess (Oloi) Iyayota Ewuare II.
The Benin Palace in a press release said the delivery of quadruplets is unprecedented in the history of Bini Royal family and the Palace.
Oba Ewuare II who made the announcement before his the national leadership of old students of almamater, Immaculate Conception College, ICC, thanked God Almighty and ancestors for the blessing.
The presiding Priest of Holy Aruosa Church, Ohen-Osa Igbinoghodua Edebiri, offered prayer to God for wisdom and guidance for the new born.
Princess (Oloi) Aisosa Ewuare II is the youngest among the wives of the traditional ruler.
