Sammie Okposo Dies

Nigerian born international gospel music star, Sammie Okposo has been reported dead.

Sammie Okposo who have been under social backlashing after he admitted earlier in the year of having sex with another woman, reportedly died on Friday morning.

It was gathered that Sammie Okposo has been battling an undisclosed health challenges before he slumped and died in the early hours of today.

Sammie Okposo project manager, Hillary Vincent, confirmed the news via phone call, according to Punch Newspaper.

“Yes it’s true. It happened this morning”, Vincent said.

Sammie Okposo started his music career as a soundtrack producer for Nollywood in 1992.

He was aged 51.

Death of the gospel music star, Sammie Okposo who became well known with his “Welu Welu” song has continued to elicit comments and reactions in the social media spaces.

While your infidelity saga was everywhere on social media, you were dragged on social media. Now you are dead, I hope they can now rest.

Most ministers you have ministered for didn’t stand by you. Even programme you hosted, they cancelled it.

Most Music ministers, your colleagues didn’t publicly pray for you or stand by you. I didnt see most of them on social media.

Now they will all post your pictures with all kinds of eulogy.

Let everyone be strong through any storm and battle of life.

People give more flowers to the dead than the living because regret is stronger than gratitude.

While you are alive, Live, Love, Laugh, Forgive, and Always Pray.

Don’t kill yourself and don’t let people kill you either.

Sammie Okposo was dragged, called names and cursed for a weakness which is not strange to the human race but nobody cared to know if he is healthy to bear all those social media dragging.

May you never fall into the hands of Judgmental religious people while you are just going through a difficult time. They will judge you as if they are perfect.

Dear Sammie, you have died, you have come to the end of your journey. Your body and beautiful voice will now lay below the earth, covered with heaps of sand but judged by nobody.
