Nigeria is a country not in war like Russia Ukraine but the atmosphere in the country is tensed with a lot of agitations and unanswered civil demands.
Group of students blocked Akure-Ilesha road in Ondo State to press home their demands over the Academic Staff Union of University, ASUU strike.
The protesting students with various placards demanded an end to the ASUU strike and asked the Federal Government to ensure the issues with the Academic Staff Union are resolved.
Photographs of the scene of the protest as made available by a twitter user simply named Ayolomo4ever as reposted by PUNCH Newspaper today show the students displayed some placards demanding for the sales of the country, Nigeria and their own share given to them.
“Sell Nigeria And Give Us Our Share. #Buhari #Aketi”, one of the placards reads.
It would be recalled President Muhammadu Buhari left Nigeria yesterday to Kenya and thereafter to spend two weeks in London amidst tension and possible civil unrest in the country due to scarcity of fuel that may paralyzed businesses and other economic activities in the country if the scarcity persisted.
