In what looked so unusual, Anambra State Governor-elect, Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo has submitted 50 years development plans to the outgoing Governor Willie Obiano.

According to information from Soludo media unit, it took the former Central Bank Governor, Chukwuma Soludo three years to come up with the development plans.

Governor Willie Obiano contracted Soludo as chairman of the Anambra State Vision 2070 in 2019 soon after he started the second tenure in office.

The assignment was done and completed by Soludo today which Governor Willie Obiano is due to leave office on March 17, 2022.

Statement from the media unit of the Anambra State Governor-elect, Professor Chukwuma Soludo reads:

The Anambra Vision 2070 Committee led by the governor elect Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo CFR earlier today submitted their comprehensive report to the executive governor of Anambra State His Excellency Chief Willie Obiano. The committee was inaugurated in 2019 by Governor Willie Obiano.

Governor Willie Obiano while welcoming the committee stressed that Professor Charles Soludo never knew he will emerge the next Anambra Governor when he was made the chairman of the committee. He added that it was likely a miracle that the governor elect now will have to work towards achieving the blueprint of the amazing team that worked out the report.

The event was held at newly commissioned International Convention Centre (in) Awka which was initiated and completed by Governor Willie Obiano.

The governor elect Prof Charles Soludo praised the wonderful work which governor Willie Obiano has done in Anambra State.
