Men of the Nigerian Army have killed scores of ISWAP-Boko Haram terrorists in Borno State earlier on Tuesday.
Information from the Nigerian Army Public Relations unit indicated that the troops of 195 Battalion in conjunction with members of the Civilian Joint Task Force, CJTF killed the terrorists while carrying out clearance operation at Kasha Kasha area of Borno State.
“Gallant troops of 195 Battalion in conjunction with members of CJTF on a clearance operation neutralized several ISWAP/BokoHaram at Kasha Kasha In Borno State today Tuesday 26 April 2022”, the Army Public Relations Unit said.
The troops also showed weapons and ammunition amongst other items recovered from the terrorists.
