The Ukraine Gas Transmission System Operator in a report published by the Kyiv Independent News media, said that effect from today May 11, 2022, Ukraine wouldn’t be able to ensure gas transit from Russia to Europe due to the ongoing Russia war in the country.
“Since several gas facilities are in the occupied areas, Ukraine won’t be able to ensure gas transit from Russia to Europe starting on May 11”, Ukraine’s gas transmission system operator said.
According to Reuters, “Ukraine has remained a major route for Russian gas to Europe even after President Vladimir Putin ordered what he called a “special military operation” on Feb. 24.
