Angry youths have arrested and burnt shrines of some persons suspected to be members of the unknown gunmen gang enforcing the every Monday sit-at-home order in Anambra state.
According to the Video posted by the Anambra Broadcasting Service, ABS, the suspected Unknown Gunmen were arrested at Ichi community in the Ekwusigo local government area of Anambra state during the weekend.
The suspected Unknown Gunmen more than five in numbers were seen in the video beaten and paraded before the camera while their shrines set ablaze by the angry youths.

“This is Ichi in Ekwusigo LGA of Anambra State.
“The Youths of this community have apprehended some Criminals enforcing the banned Monday Sit at home, and destroyed the shrines and amulets in their camp.
“Ndi Anambra MUST be free.
“Ndi Anambra Take Back Your Land!!!”, ABS news report reads.
It would be recalled Anambra State Governor, Charles Chukwuma Soludo had declared April 4, 2022 as official end to the every Monday sit-at-home order observed in the state since August 9, 2021 he said some persons he described as criminals using the name of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB to destroy lives and properties in the state.
Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo anti war campaign against Unknown Gunmen has been met with some resistance from the unknown gunmen who thereafter killed two Road safety officials at Ekwulobia area of the state, burnt Nnewi South Local Government Secretariat, also set ablaze the governor country home local government area Headquarters, Aguata Council Secretariat among other destruction of lives and properties.
