A yet to be identified woman has been crushed to death inside her car seen across railroad in Abuja.

A video made available online shows moment the woman inside the car was crushed by the passengers train.

The video indicated that the crushed car was across the railroad. It could not be ascertained if the vehicle developed fault as the car seems motionless on the railroad despite the loud blowing horn of the passengers train.

The video also shows moment the woman tried to escape by opening the driver’s door, stepped one of her legs out to run but she was unlucky as the passengers train crushed her with the vehicle.

According to BBC Pidgin, the Spokesperson for FCT Command of the Nigeria Police Force, Josephine Adeh confirmed the death of the woman.

“Unfortunate incident of Rail/ motor fatal accident happened at Chikakore axis in Kubwa Area council of the FCT”, the Police Spokesperson said.

The Police Spokesperson said medical practitioners confirmed and pronounced the woman dead.

Adding that, police has started investigation into the train-motor accident.
