
Video Shows Moment Police Murder Suspected Assassin Behind Apostle Suleman Attack
A video has surfaced on the internet, showing moment, a police officer used AK-47 rifle to murder a suspected assassin, overpowered by community youths said to be among the gang of assassins that attacked the General Overseer of Omega Fire Ministry, Apostle Johnson Suleman, on Friday evening which led to the killing of his seven security and civilian aides along Warake road in Auchi community, the administrative headquarters of Etsako West Local Government area of Edo State.
The video showed the suspect was caught by Civilians and brought alive to the Divisional Police Headquarters in Auchi.
The suspect was sitting inside the vehicle and surrounded by mob.
A police officer was seen, walked out of the police station and moved straight to where the vehicle conveying the suspect was parked, opened the door and opened fire on him at close range.
Apostle Johnson Suleman was attacked around 5 pm on Friday.
The video shows that the suspect was brought alive to the police station when the day was still bright.
It would be recalled that, a police officer has posted a video, alleging that, the suspect was killed during gun battle with the team of Policemen that ran after the assassins.
The police man in the video said the suspect was killed during the gun battle while other gang members escaped with bullet wounds.
The policeman claimed, those that attacked Apostle Johnson Suleman were kidnappers.
Soon after the police man released the video on Friday, Apostle Johnson Suleman faulted the claim that the suspected assassin was killed during gun battle.
Apostle Johnson Suleman said the suspect was handed over to the police alive but the police killed him immediately.
An action, Apostle Johnson Suleman considered as a calculated attempt to cover up traces of people behind the attack on him.
Apostle Johnson Suleman also faulted the claim that the attackers were kidnappers, insisting, the people came with the intention to assassinate him.
